History of the Society  
 
The aim of the society is the economic, social and educational progress of the poor and downtrodden sections of our society. It is registered under the Kerala Literary, scientific and charitable society’s act under No. K526/02 and named as Mother Theresa memorial Charitable society. Sri P.G. Jacob, Retired Judge, inaugurated the society on 18th Nov 2002. Since it has shown tremendous progress in providing service to the needy. The donations made to Mother Theresa memorial Charitable society are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80G of I.T. Act. 1961 and FCRA Account Number 627101004915 in ICICI Bank Ltd.
Director Board  
 
T. Santhosh Kumar as the President and Sindhu V.C. as General Secretary, the director board is constituted by seven committee members. They are the founder members of the society who control all the activities of it.
  Staffs
 
Principal in Charge and fourteen teachers are responsible for running the School. Besides regular education the children’s are also engaged in art & craftwork, drama, dancing and value based education. Yoga and meditation also form part of the children’s formation. Bi-monthly teachers meetings are held to discuss the progress of the children. Syllabus formation and lesson planning are part of the meetings.
First step of the Society
 
Mother Teresa Memorial Charitable Society started on English medium School to provide free English medium education for the financially and socially backward children. With this aim we started first with 30 pupils in a rented building by the help and financial support of the public.
Own land for the society
 
Society bought own land in the year 2003 and Retired Justice P.G. Jacob laid the foundation stone on 11th October 2003 for the school.
First building of the society  
 
The First building of the society was inaugurated by C.F. Thomas, honourable Minister for Rural development on March 19th 2005 at 8.30am. On the same day there was distribution of free uniform to the poor students by Prof. Narayana Kurup MLA and P.G.Jacob Retired Judge, inaugurated the supply of welfare scheme for poor people.
Foundation laying of second building of the society
 
On March 11th 2005, Honorable M. P. Suresh Kurup laid the foundation stone.
Thereafter Smt. Sudha Kurian, Kottayam Zilla Panchayath Vice-President distributed medical aid to the needy. Adv. Job Michle, member Zilla Panchayath, distributed the documents for free education to SC/ST students up to high school.
Inauguration of building
 
Adv. Suresh Kurup, honourable MP, inaugurated II building, C.F. Thomas MLA distributed free notebooks for the poor children and Smt. Sudha Kurian Vice-President Zilla Panchayath distributed free uniform clothes
Recently the society with the help of a number of well wishers were able to renovate this building into a three storied building with over 20 class rooms and accommodates students up to 8th standard. This we consider as one of our greatest achievements.
Vehicles for the Society
 
Society bought a first van (KL5-V9930) and was inaugurated by the president T.SanthoshKumar By the blessings of Mother Teresa, School has progressed in leaps and bounds and now we own 3 buses which we use for transporting school children. The society has given clear helping hand in Social and cultural zones also.
